Game summary

Normally Blood Bowl games are bloody, but not today.  Today two undead teams faced off against each other.  The Shambling Undead of the Dead Poet's Society vs the Necromantic might of the Scenic City Southern Devils.  Today's game was bound to be... dusty!

The amount of Strength on the field was titanic with SIX Mummies dusting off their ceremonial brass knuckles and knocking heads on the pitch.  The game went the way of the Devils to start with them knocking out both a Mummy and a Blitzer early.  Thankfully the Poets paid attention in their recent "Regen and You: Getting Back in the Game" seminar as they simply moved to the reserves box rather than the casualty box.  The Devils didn't seem to care - they earned SPP regardless, and with two men out, controlling the ball would be a breeze.  Except it wasn't!

The only living figures on the field were the four ghouls of the Society and they played havoc on the poor Devils.  Bloodyard Kipling took the ball away from the Devils, then with the help of his compatriots ran it in for a score near the end of the first half.

The Society got the ball in the 2nd half and proceeded to do a number on the Devils.  A lot of players in the Dirt since the Society was back up to full strength, and about midway through the half the Society was once again dancing towards the end zone.  They added a TD to bring the score to 2-0 and then lined up to kick off to the Devils again!  Could they get their due?

The Society played rather deep for the most part, with Ghouls jumping behind the lines and pestering the ball carriers.  They made it exceedingly difficult for the Devils to do much of anything, so they ended up settling for a few pass plays that ultimately improved their image with the fans, but didn't improve their record.

The society ended the game with a 2-0 victory, and while they had 3 players MNG by the end, were very happy with the results.  On a side note, the Society is interested in any up and coming journeymen Zombies that think they can handle the Blood Bowl pitch!  Put in an application at the Necromancer's guild and perhaps you can be the star of the show!
